Temat postu: Bronx Eye Care Optometry
Bronx Eye Care Optometry
Although I wanted contacts with UV protection, I never mentioned that when I ordered them. Michael worked with me and researched with the contact supplier to get the right lenses. I was not the easiest customer, louis vuitton pas cher, but everyone worked to make sure I was very happy with the end result. Also, the optometrist there is wonderful. I had so many eye exams where they go through the choices so quickly, you don even have time to figure out which lens you see better through. She actually gave me enough time to consider both choices. Overall, I was very pleased with the service there.
This place is a rip off. The frames that I got were not name brand and they told me that they were worth 200 and something dollars. My insurance takes off 10% of the total and then takes off an additional $175. However, they ended up charging me $385, which they claim was due to the fact that I had my lenses thinned out. I later called Macy Vision Express and asked them what is the most that they charge to thin out lenses and they said $100 or a little more. Now let say that that frames cost $275 (which I doubt since they are not name brand), scratch resistant lenses cost $55 and thinning out the lenses cost $125 then the total should be $455 and with my insurance end up paying $235 (mind you I really doubt that the glass were worth more than $200 so at the end they should have charged me less than $200).
Paid $500 for glasses that don fit and can be adjusted. A better glasses boutique who have advised me against the frames I selected because my lenses are too heavy for them. They either didn know (which is bad) or they wanted the sale (which is worse). Went in today to try to have them tightened, because they always are slipping and one of the people who works there who always has a sour, you demeanor scratched up the frames while melting them. I took a chance on this place and it was a bad gamble. Just horrible.
